Target and Architecture

GTR target is not only to provide the automatic management of the evaluation of medical prescriptions. It is also the possibility of system extension to coordinate documents inside the organization in any case of their processing, in all the phases that they need to pass through.

The architecture composes of the modules which are always coordinated and which can work sequentionaly or simultaneously. In the process can be involved all or only part of the modules. The main coordination module is called Process.Monitor.

All the system can work from one work place or it can work in Intranet connecting all parts of company, evaluation centers, quality centers, document control centers, pharmacies, insurances. It can manage a few prescriptions per month, but also the millions without necessity of the implementation of server managing system.

Logistics

 Module for logistics management foresees the support of physical documents (prescriptions) collection. It uses the calendar model which is calculating of all possible variants such as working hours, holidays, indisponibility, shift, journey plan, transporters.

System supports print of all necessary documents for different areas which are involved in gathering of documents. These are transporters, pharmacies, insurance companies – they are involved in planning and also during gathering. It enables verification from all the parts that are involved in the process of coordination which precede precise organization of the collection and which speed up their compilation.

Module is supporting the process of documents digitalization. All the types of documents that come to center are involved into process.

Recognition

The module uses the most innovative digital technologies for recognition that have been included into GTR. For each prescription batch is automatically started the Optical Recognition for these fields:

• prescription barcodes
• name of the patient
• medicines
• patient age 
• notices to medicines
• patient insurance company
• barcode of package
• patient province 
• pharmacy spedition date
• patient sex
• pharmacy stamp
• missing notes
• date of the doctor prescription issuance
• field of notices

In the case that digital recognition for some fields is not successful, it needs to be filled manually. On demand is possible to show and manage also the reverse side of prescription.

Completition

System automatically suggests according the set of rules the prescriptions that need to be checked with special treatment.

Prescriptions that are marked for check according the set of rules:

• missing pharmacy stamp 
• missing No of the insurance card/ fiscal code of patient
• missing the name of patient
• missing stamp of doctor
• missing signature of doctor
• if is marked  A + notice for marking
  1. if doctor’s date  > pharmacy spedition date
     pharmacy spedition date – (doctor’s date +1) = days; two possible solutions:
     • if  pharmacy spedition date < 6/3/2001 and prescription type is not repetible, No of days must be <= 10, for rest <= 30
     • from  6/3/2001 days <= 30 
  2. If the day of spedition from the pharmacy is from the next month, prescription is marked as SUSPENDED. It will be moved into special box in selection machine.
  3. Prescription price > 2 (marked as A, transfusion or antibiontics max. 6) in max. 2 prescriptions regardless of medicine baroce.)
  4. more than 2 medicines on prescription
  5. If the medicine is suspended, canceled or deleted (vide medicines DB) and the date of this change <= pharmacy spedition date
  6. If there is note CUF necessary
  7. If the kind of medicine (is defined in actual medicine DB) is class C or H (hospital)

Evaluation

Prescription evaluation is made automatically, when all the correct necessary and sufficient data has been provided. This operation is done using communication with special medicine databases that are available on the market. For them exists the special interfaces.

Packing

This module takes care of sorting machine management. This machine is used for document packing. When the batch of documents is put into machine, operator can use pack of automatic and semiautomatic methods for managing the packing phase, which are respecting above mentioned cycle.

Technology

Product GTR is based on Open source technology, so it can work on the simple processor machine as same as multiprocessor dedicated server. The costs are very low according to other products based on proprietary technologies.

Database is running on Firebird server that can be managed on Linux either on Windows. From client perspective it can be installed as LAN client-server application or it can work as LAN Terminal Server application. It can be also Intranet solution following same rules. This enables the possibility to manage from managing module and use the coordination of many evaluation centers, many document control sources and also the selling pots.

Sorting machine management has been put directly into product for the maximal speed, flexibility and optimal recognition and digitalization of packaging.

The technology of recognition is based on 3rd party solution, which is officially respected as most accurate on market. Process of recognition of each document (prescription) is made in tenth of second.

Process.monitor

Process monitor enables generous overview and coordination of the actually running processes state. User can check processing of each independent phase – “documents logistic”, “digitalization”, “checking”, “packing”… and activates in real-time appropriate procedures or actions to solve the critical situations, technical blocks or control.

Process monitor enables coordination of evaluation centers network, human resources and technical sources in this process. It supports real-time adaptation of interested sources in any single process by announcing and enabling reorganization in critical unforeseen or not planned situations that came because of missing source in process.

Monthly statistics

This module produces a set of reports that are necessary for completing of entire process. Naturally system enables creation of own reports or settings in many actual forms. There is also possibility of data extraction – this data can be used for integration for analysis in other software, especially in Office family from Microsoft:
